Meet SARAH: She's a darling little Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix, approx. 8 weeks old.  She has a very gentle personality that will touch your very soul.  Her temperament will be perfect for a family with young children.  She loves to be held and cuddled.

Thank you Girl Scout Troop 3155 for bringing food and supplies.   The animals enjoyed your visit and appreciated the treats, pampering and attention!!
MANI:  Neutered male Staffordshire Terrier, approx. 1-1/2 years old.   This gentle girl is just SO sweet!   She is quick to learn commands and has already mastered sit and down.  She has gorgeous black and gray/brindle markings.
We have several litters of puppies at the Sanctuary. Please spay and neuter your pets!Thank you Troop 16047 for spending your day helping at the shelter.   The puppies loved the special attention!
This is ECHO!  He's a 2 year old Jack Russell Terrier.   This little boy is full of spunk and loves to play.   He needs a family that's active and has older children.   He is definitely a busy body and wants to be included in all activities.
PUFFY is a male Hairless Chinese Crested.  He's just a puppy so will need help in potty training.  Cutie Pie!!
A Hairless Chinese Crested pictured here with one of our devoted volunteers.  Thank you Elizabeth for all you do for the animals living at Noah's Ark.

Meet EDDIE!!  He's a sweet and gentle Standard size American Eskimo Spitz.  This gentle boy was  found as a stray and brought to Noah's Ark with a serious injury.   A veterinarian's examination revealed a gun shot wound to his left shoulder.   Luckily his shoulder was not broken, the bullet removed, and he is now on his way to recovery.  This breed has a double coat and requires an owner that is dedicated to brushing and grooming.   Eskies are one of the most intelligent of all breeds and make excellent pets.   (You go Tammy, those pink boots look great!)

CHINESE CRESTED - both Hairless and Powder Puff

Noah's Ark is cooperating with a breeder that has fallen ill and can no longer care for her dogs.   We are helping with SEVENTY Chinese Crested and Tea Cup Chihuahua's (not yet pictured).  Due to the large number of dogs and space availability at the shelter, we are rescuing the dogs in phases.   The Chihuahua's are both toy, miniature, short hair, long hair, dark chocolate, cream and all really adorable.  All shelter dogs are spayed/neutered before being available for adoption as required by Texas State Law.

Please visit the Sanctuary to adopt these wonderful dogs today!!

DAISY is a wonderful Rottweiler mix.  You would never guess she only has three legs by the way she loves to run and play with children and our volunteers!  She is only about 38 pounds and is extremely sweet with younger children.  She does need a home without other dogs and cats are not probably a good idea.  If you are a single dog family who is looking for such a sweet girl….she would be the one to pick!

Meet KOAL…he is the greatest dog you will ever run across.  Don’t be swayed by his massive size…this is a guy who is nothing but a gentle giant who prefers laying around the house with his people than roaming the open acres!  He loves all other dogs and is great with cats as well.  He thinks he is a lap dog and is truly one amazing sweet guy.

LUCY:  She is a yellow lab mix, approx. 1 year old.   This poor girl was severely neglected and starved before being rescued by a good Samaritan and brought to Noah's Ark for medical treatment and tender loving care.   She is a good girl - very gentle and loving, and certainly not deserving of being treated as a discarded pet.
ZEUS came to live at Noah's Ark at  6 weeks old with sarcoptic and demodectic mange.   He completely lost all of his hair and was completely unsightly.  With a LOT of Tender Loving Care from the volunteers at the shelter, he is now ready to find a home of his own.   A very dedicated volunteer personally sponsored his very expensive bottles of special shampoo, salve and mite treatment.   Zeus says, "Thank You, I feel much better"!!   Please call to inquire about Zeus.  He is a loving little dog and would make a great family companion.  He is leash and crate trained.

Mickey, a Lab/Border Collie mix was found starving, dehydrated with road rash and a broken leg near Waller. We’re guessing Mickey was hit by a car and left to die.  A good Samaritan brought Mickey to Noah’s Ark asking for help for the suffering dog. Mickey was referred to a special surgeon who managed to save her leg, although it was much more costly than an amputation. Mickey is very happy that she still has all four legs.  See the severity of her broken leg on the xray to the left.

Mickey will need a very loving and patient owner to help her through her tough time.   When you meet her, you will undoubtedly fall in love.   She's a true treasure.

Please make a donation to Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary, a 501 c(3) No-Kill Sanctuary to help cover the cost of Mickey’s surgery. Any amount is greatly appreciated!

Good News!  So far, $918.00 has been donated toward Mickey's surgery.   The total cost was $2,700.00.  Thank you to United Animal Nations for the Emergency  Lifeline Grant toward her surgery!
