Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary teams with Marshall Police Department, the Humane Society of Northeast Texas and Greggs County Animal Control in a seizure of more than 20 animals from an animal hoarder in Longview Texas.   The dogs were suffering from malnutrition, mange and severe flea infestation when confiscated.  The owners have been incarcerated.

Noah's Ark is a no-kill shelter with limited intake and could only agree to accept 12 of the Shish Tzu's.    The sheriff's department met Noah's Ark half way in Cleveland, Texas in a Walmart parking lot.   The transfer went well and the dogs are now safe from euthanasia at our sanctuary.    They have all been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, bathed, flea dipped, groomed and given all other medial attention needed.

Many of Noah's Ark's devoted volunteers came together to bathe, trim off severe mats, groom and help socialize these dogs.   Thank you to Glamour Pups Mobile Pet Salon for trimming the dogs into a show cut.   It has been a Texas statewide and local community effort to help these special dogs.

The Shish Tzu's had been confined to a home and are not used to a leash.   All of the dogs will need very special loving and attention.  Please call the shelter to inquire about adopting One or Two of these precious little guys.
